PREACHING

GOSPEL-CENTERED

We believe Scripture is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God, so we hold Scripture as our final authority on all matters of life and faith. Our preaching is expository and exegetical, meaning books of the Bible are preached through and explained as we seek to better know God as He is revealed through Scripture.

MUSIC

CHRIST-EXALTING

We believe that worship is more than music, but that it is certainly part of our worship. When you come to ARCC, you will notice that we predominantly sing songs that are God-centered, rather than us-centered, because we believe Scripture ultimately points us to Christ and we want our music to do the same.

CHILDREN

DISCIPLE-MAKING

We believe that our first mission field is to our children, so we foster a culture of discipleship at ARCC in our Children's Ministry. From newborns through 5th graders, your children will be cared for and encouraged towards following Christ in discipleship by our teachers and helpers each Sunday.

SERMONS

CURRENT SERIES

Scripture tells us that by Adam’s disobedience we were all made sinners and by Christ’s obedience we are made righteous.  Many have a problem with the idea of Adam as their “representative” in the garden of Eden citing confidence in their ability to abstain from eating the fruit and throwing the rest of creation into ruin and chaos.  What we learn through this study of the temptation of Christ is that not only would we have eaten the fruit, but that we absolutely eat the “fruit” every single day.  It is terrible news that our first representative failed, but that makes the good news of Christ’s victory sweeter.  Christ was tempted in all the ways we are tempted and remained sinless.  By faith in Christ we get His righteous life credited to us.  We also realize that although satan is crafty and good at what he does he has already played his entire hand.  Perhaps Jesus was being tempted, or perhaps Jesus was exposing (for our sake) his enemy to the shame of defeat.
