Show Notes:

Alamo Ranch Community Church exists to be a church that glorifies God by making disciples whose identity and joy are found and rooted in the gospel of Jesus. John 15:4-11

How would you describe Alamo Ranch Community Church to someone interested in visiting?

ARCC’s foundational priority is proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and our love for Him. We accomplish this beginning with a faithful exposition of the Bible every Sunday as we corporately praise and worship the LORD. Our belief and trust in Him affects every aspect of our ministry as we encourage each other to follow Jesus. We take seriously His command to make disciples as we loving disciple each other in that pursuit. We welcome anyone and everyone to join as we live life together with that purpose.

Every Sunday morning we declare who Alamo Ranch Community Church desires to be:

To all who are weary and need rest,

To all who mourn and long for comfort,

To all who feel worthless and wonder if God cares,

To all who fail and desire strength,

To all who sin and need a savior,

This church opens wide her doors from Jesus Christ

The ally of His enemies,

The defender of the guilty,

The justifier of the inexcusable,

The friend of sinners,

The embodiment of grace and truth.

He is God with us…God for us.

What do you hope and pray is unchangeable at ARCC?

We desire to be a church that embraces the authority and sufficiency of Scripture, faithful expositional preaching and teaching, the centrality of the gospel, biblical discipleship, and humble, servant-hearted leadership. We will continue to joyfully embrace the Doctrines of Grace while pursuing the glory of Christ above personal preference or cultural pressure. Our heart's desire is to glorify God by making disciples whose identity and joy are rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. To that end, we are committed to the ongoing development of biblically qualified elders, deacons, and ministry leaders who will faithfully shepherd and equip the church. We also seek to continually refine and strengthen our ministries for every stage of life, so

that children, students, adults, and families are equipped to grow in Christ, serve one another, and faithfully proclaim the gospel to our community and beyond.

What is your prayer and hope for the future of ARCC?

We prayerfully look forward to being in our own building, desiring it be a place where the grace and mercy of Jesus is proclaimed and lived out in our own body and the community around us. Our desire is that all our ministries and activities would “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” Ephesians 4:12-16
