• What specific decision will you make this week to embody the mind of Christ so that His light shines through you?  
• What will you do this week to hold fast to the word of life yourself, and to whom could you hold it forth?  

ARCC family we need your help! Join us on either Friday, Oct. 16th or Saturday, Oct. 17th to paint the interior of our new Fellowship building. On Friday, we will be painting the primer and then on Saturday applying the paint. This is a great way to serve the church individually, with your family, or with your GC!

Ladies, join us for some time to get to know other women at ARCC!  We are meeting at The Ashley Rooker's Home. This is an amazing way to meet women of all different ages and life stages as a spring board to deeper relationships.

Men, we're excited about our retreat this year. We'll be back at Camp Sequoia and we'll be looking at how our personal devotion is so important to us as men, to our families, and to our world. This is a great opportunity to get away with men from our church. We hope you can all join us.

The sessions won't begin until Friday but we have the place reserved starting Thursday evening so if you can make it out then we'd love to have you. There are spots to camp if you want to bring a tent or hammock, or there are cabins and dorms if you prefer, you'll just need to bring your own bedding. Cost is $100. We want everyone to be able to join us and we don't want the expense to keep anyone away. If you need help with the registration cost please reach out to Juan Vazquez or one of the Elders and we'll get you taken care of.

Our Kid's Ministry is growing, and we’d love for you to be part of what God is doing! We’re looking for volunteers who are willing to serve just once a month and help create a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment for our kids. We currently have opportunities to serve in all age groups, so whether you love caring for toddlers and preschool kids, elementary students, or holding sweet babies, there’s a place for you! You don’t have to serve every week to make an impact. One Sunday a month can make a lasting difference in a child’s life. If you’re ready to use your gifts to serve our kids and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus, we’d love to have you join our team!

Join us at the Porch on October 31st for a family friendly trunk or treat event. This is a great time to spend with the body of ARCC as we pass out candy to the little ones from the trunk of our vehicle!

Join us on Sunday mornings at 8:00am in the Exercise Room of the YMCA as we pray over the body of ARCC and the new season The Lord has for us.  We come expectant for the Lord to meet us here. Feel free to come and go as you would like.

Bible studies have started up again!

Women- The Friday Morning Women's Bible Study Group meets from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Childcare will be available.

Wednesday evenings ladies meet at 6:30 pm. There is no child care available.

Men- Come Saturday mornings to the home of Winton Roberson at 6:30 am.

We will be continuing our study through the Minor Prophets. We would love for you to join as we grow more in love with God and each other. Our prayer is that as Biblical literacy increases, our love for Jesus and each other increases as well. We are trusting the Lord to convict, encourage, and sanctify us by His Spirit through the Word!

Our youth discipleship groups are starting up again! If you have a child in grades 6-12, they will be meeting during the 9:00 service in the exercise room next to the foyer. They will start meeting on August 30. It's a time where our youth can dive into the Word and learn more about the Lord! 

Youth in grades 6-12, come together on Wednesday nights for a time of worship, fellowship and teaching. We are going through a section from a bible in two-year plan. Invite your friends!

We are looking for more people to serve at the prayer table to pray at the YMCA for Y staff and members. This is an incredible opportunity to engage our community with the hope of the gospel.

We want to encourage all of you to take pictures and videos of any church events you are apart of and use the link below to share those with the church. We will be using those to show all the exciting stuff going on in the life of ARCC. Don't hesitate to capture those amazing moments!!

We offer baptisms a few times a year. Those interested in being baptized attend a short class where we talk more in-depth about what baptism is, and what it means in the life of a believer. This class also gives us an opportunity to hear your story and answer any questions that you may have.

God has used and continues to use the faithful and generous giving of those here at ARCC to supply what we need for the work that He has given us to do. We invite you to sow into that work and come alongside us as we make disciples here in San Antonio and beyond.

There's a lot that goes into ministry here at ARCC, and we're only able to make it happen together. Each week so many of you come together to use your gifts,  talents, time, and effort to minister to the body.  If you're not serving anywhere yet we encourage you all to get involved. At the link below you will find a page that walks you through the new process. You’ll find lots of information on who we are and what we believe and what we expect from our members and what you can expect from us. We believe that being a member of a local body is vital to the overall health and discipleship of a believer in Christ. Once you have completed the application one of our Elders will reach out to set up a meeting with you where we can meet you, go over your application, and answer any questions that you may have.
