In the Book of Jonah we see God working sovereignly in Redemptive History. God has a people that He chooses to save, and His instrument for that task is the Prophet Jonah.
Jonah resists God to the point of outright disobedience, but the purposes of God will not be deterred. In the midst of this, Jonah learns about God. We can learn about God, and about ourselves, as we study this book.
